Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about selling your cards with us. Can't find what you're looking for? Get in touch and we'll help directly.

How is my offer calculated?

We check recent genuine sold prices for your exact card — same player, same set, same parallel or serial number where it applies — rather than asking prices or what someone hopes to get. Every card is personally reviewed by our team against genuine recent sold prices — not an algorithm and not a guess — so you get an accurate, fair offer, typically within 24 hours of submission. From there, we factor in your card's condition and take a margin to cover processing, postage, and the fact that we're paying you fast with zero effort on your part. The result is a single, guaranteed number — no haggling, no waiting for a buyer.

Why can't I see the "market value" alongside my offer?

Our offer already reflects a fair price for a fast, guaranteed, no-hassle sale. Showing a separate "market value" figure tends to create confusion rather than clarity, since that number doesn't account for the time, fees, and risk involved in selling a card yourself. If you'd like to understand more about how we price a specific card, feel free to get in touch.

What happens after I ship my cards?

Once your parcel arrives, our team checks each card against the details and condition you provided. If everything matches, your offer is confirmed and payment is on its way. If we spot a meaningful difference in condition, we'll let you know before doing anything else.

What if my card's condition doesn't match what I declared?

Our team compares what you told us against what actually arrives, using the same condition definitions in our Condition Guide. Small differences of opinion happen — condition can be subjective, and we allow for that. But if there's a clear, meaningful gap between what was declared and what we find, we'll send you a revised offer along with a clear explanation of what changed and why, before any payment is made.

What if I disagree with a revised offer?

You're always able to raise a query directly from your dashboard. Our team will review it personally — you're never stuck with a number you think is unfair without a way to challenge it.

Is my offer guaranteed once I accept it?

Yes — once you accept an offer, that price is locked in, provided the card matches what you told us. The only time an offer changes is if there's a genuine, meaningful condition mismatch found on arrival, and even then, you'll always be told why and given the chance to query it.

How do I photograph my cards properly?

Use a plain, dark, matte background — a black t-shirt or dark cloth works well — and avoid direct overhead lighting, which causes glare. For higher-value cards (numbered, autographed, or graded), we'll also ask for close-ups of each corner and edge, so we can assess condition as accurately as possible before you even ship anything.

How should I package my cards for shipping?

Use a rigid mailer or top-loaders — never send cards loose in a standard envelope, since they can be damaged or bent in transit. Full packaging guidance is shown on the shipping step once you've accepted an offer.

How long does payment take?

We aim to confirm your offer within 24 hours of submission. Once your card arrives and passes inspection, payment is sent within 24 hours.

What happens if we can't agree on a revised offer?

If you raise a query and we're unable to reach an agreement, you can choose to have your cards returned instead of accepting the revised offer. Returns are sent within 5 business days of your request. We aim to respond to all queries within 2 business days.

What cards do you accept?

Football and sports cards from major competitions — Premier League, Champions League, World Cup, and more. We currently focus on numbered/parallel cards, autographs, relics/patches, and professionally graded cards, where we can offer the strongest, most accurate prices. We don't currently accept plain base cards or unnumbered common parallels.

Can I sell a large collection at once?

Yes — use "Sell a big collection" from the start page to paste in a quick list of your cards, then work through completing details and photos for each one at your own pace before submitting.
